How We Work

Our Services

Above all, making a new garden, or reviving an old one, should be an exciting and fulfilling experience. We pride ourselves on our personal approach and will work closely with you every step of the way. Whether you are the proud owner of a petite urban courtyard which requires a new planting scheme, or a developer grappling with landscaping extensive grounds we will be able to help.

Step One

After contacting us we will send you a short questionnaire and arrange a complimentary consultation to discuss what exactly you are looking to achieve.

Step Two

Following the initial consultation, we will send you a proposal. This will include a design brief based on the consultation; this forms the basis of any design work you commission. It will also clearly outline the costs involved in undertaking the design work.

Step Three

Depending on your needs a commission may include any or all of the following:

  • A detailed site survey, to scale
  • A full design plan with hard landscaping material specifications, accompanied by 2D and 3D visual aids as required
  • Detailed construction drawings for bespoke features
  • A detailed planting plan including trees, shrubs, perennials and bulbs
  • A layout plan to aid the landscaper in building the garden
  • A Design Specification document or Scope of Works for engaging for a landscaper
  • Project monitoring – we can work closely with the landscaper and other specialist contractors throughout the garden build to ensure the garden is finished to the intended design
  • Plant sourcing and planting – we can source all the plants you require and have an expert team to plant up the garden
STEP FOUR

Once your garden is complete it will start to grow! We will provide an annual maintenance schedule to help you look after your garden.

We can also provide both practical ongoing garden development and advice. This might include returning at key times of year to undertake specialist jobs such as pruning topiary or planting bulbs, or offering mentoring sessions so that you learn new skills to develop the garden yourself.
